A Gullwing body sitting on a 2002 Mercedes-Benz SLK 32 is a tough one to both build, and for some, to accept. Nevertheless, this is what John Sarkisyan has achieved in his workshop. He has been dreaming of owning and customizing a Mercedes 300SL Gullwing for years, but since they are pretty hard to come by – he took an original 300SL and made a 100% match fiberglass body. This means all the original parts that are still available, like trim and chrome around windows, lights, and door panels are the real deal. The same goes for the interior! In short, this custom Mercedes 300SL Gullwing is half the weight compared to the original and twice the power. Together with KW suspension, Brembo brakes, and the base of a way more modern car, it’s John’s perfect version of a 300SL Gullwing.
