DeLorean Drifting In Autopilot mode

Engineers Chris Gerdes and Jonathan Goh taught Stanford’s all-electric, autonomous DeLorean named MARTY to drift. It effortlessly powerslides through a kilometer-long autocross course, just as skilled as professional drivers. “Why?”, you ask. Because they can? Well, the greater purpose is to develop accident-avoidance techniques for future auto-pilot systems.
