10-year Anniversary

It’s been 10 years since Swedish fashion designer and watch enthusiast David Campo started Nezumi as a side project. Over the years, focus has shifted to watchmaking and several successful designs and exclusive collaborations have established the brand as a solid provider of vintage-inspired watches with attention to detail.

Among the collaborations are RUF Porsche, American heavy-metal band Anthrax and no less than Pink Panther himself! As the product line has expanded to include both chronographs and divers, team Nezumi has also grown. The international collaborations are a testament to the talent, enthusiasm and pure love for retro timepieces – as well as vintage Porsches, 90s rock and cartoons.

Requested by Nezumi Fans

The 10-year anniversary timepiece is based on the first ever Nezumi watch design: the Voiture chronograph. With inspiration from the 60s and 70s and styling cues from some of the most iconic racing timepieces of the era, the Voiture is a timeless classic with a solid racing vibe.

The limited edition includes just 300 watches – each individually numbered, with “10-year anniversary” printed on the bezel and case back and sold on the Nezumi Jubilee bracelet. As always, Nezumi is offering three stunning and classic colorways with white, black and blue; all of them with the signature orange chronograph seconds hand. For years, Nezumi fans have been requesting a manual timepiece, and it’s been a long journey to find just the right fit.

Swiss Made Mechanical Movement

Nezumi decided on the Swiss Sellita SW510 Mb manual wound, no date mechanical movement. It’s a reliable and thin solution with a perfect vintage vibe. Winding the crown  has a smooth and solid sensation and is just the right morning ritual to get any retro watch lover out of bed.

The choice of a Swiss movement underlines that Nezumi is all about the details – and no compromises! The SW510 Mb has 23 jewels and 58 hours of power reserve, and the watches are assembled in Germany. Still, Nezumi has decided on a very reasonable price tag if you compare to other brands using the same movement.

“We are very proud to release 300 Limited Edition Voiture chronographs using the Sellita cal.SW510 Mb manual wound movement celebrating 10 years of Nezumi”, David Campo says.

A Love For Manually Wound Watches

Founder and designer David Campo has been a watch enthusiast and collector since his mid-teens in the 90’s. “I’ve always loved manually wound watches for two reasons: they are, to me, a time capsule back to an era of watchmaking that I really enjoy; and they tend to be thinner than an automatic watch”, David says.

The anniversary version of the Voiture has a case height of 12.6mm (+1.9mm domed crystal) and is still 40mm in diameter. We reckon that both old and new Nezumi fans will be thrilled with the release of this limited edition – and hopefully we will see more mechanical movements from team Nezumi in the future.
