In 2012, Frédéric Sausset scratched a finger on a vacation with his family. Not long after, he was fighting for his life because of a bacterial infection called purpura fulminans that ended up taking both his arms and his legs. The Frenchman wouldn’t let his disability stop a life-long motorsport dream and he set the highest possible goal; to compete in the ’24 Hours of Le Mans’ – one of the world’s oldest active motorsport events.
