Professional race car driver Andy Wallace reached 304.77mph on August 2, 2019, in a pre-production Bugatti Chiron at the VW owned test track facility Ehra-Lessien in Germany. Andy was also the person who set the top speed record of 240.1 mph back in 1998 with the legendary McLaren F1 – a record that stood for more than 11 years as the fastest production car.
